Terms of Service
Last updated:
These terms are the agreement between you and SEO·AEO·GEO (“we”, “us”) for using the SEO·AEO·GEO website, its audits, reports, alerts and paid plans (together, “the service”). By using the service, or by subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to them. If you use it for a company or for clients, you confirm you can agree on their behalf.
1. What the service is
SEO·AEO·GEO checks whether a public web page can be found, read and cited by Google Search, AI Overviews and AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude. You give us a URL; we fetch that page and related public files, score what we find, and show you a report. Depending on your plan you can also export reports, compare sites, audit several pages of a site, get weekly re-audit alerts, run live citation checks, and (on Agency) brand reports and an embeddable audit widget as your own.
Every feature is delivered online. Nothing is shipped; see our delivery policy.
2. Accounts
- The free audit works without an account. Paid plans, and some features, need one.
- You sign in with your email address and a one-time code we email you. There is no password, so keeping your email account secure is how you keep your SEO·AEO·GEO account secure.
- Give us an email address you control, and keep it current. Billing notices and receipts go there.
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
3. Paid plans, billing and auto-renewal
Current prices (full details on the pricing page):
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | Free |
| Pro | $29 or ₹1,499 | $290 or ₹14,990 |
| Agency | $99 or ₹4,999 | $990 or ₹49,990 |
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. You pay in the currency you choose at checkout (US dollars or Indian rupees, where offered). The exact amount is shown in the Razorpay checkout before you confirm. Your bank may add its own currency-conversion or card fees.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. A monthly plan is charged every month and a yearly plan every year, in advance, on the same payment method, until you cancel. By subscribing you authorise these recurring charges.
- Under Reserve Bank of India rules for recurring payments, your bank or card issuer may send you a notice before a renewal is charged, and may ask you to approve larger charges.
- If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay may retry it. If it still fails, your account moves to the Free plan until you pay again.
- Cancel any time from your account page or by writing to our support email on the contact page. You keep paid access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again. Refunds are covered by our refund and cancellation policy.
- If we change a price, we will email subscribers at least 30 days before it applies. The new price applies from your next renewal after that notice; you can cancel before then.
4. Plan limits and fair use
Each plan has limits, so the service stays fast and affordable for everyone:
| Limit | Free | Pro | Agency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single-page audits per hour | 10 | 60 | 200 |
| Pages watched by weekly alerts | 1 | 10 | 50 |
| Live citation checks per month | — | 30 | 150 |
| White-label reports and branded widget | — | — | Yes |
| Lead capture from the widget | — | — | Yes |
- Sitewide audits and comparisons fetch many pages at once, so they have lower hourly limits than single audits. Live citation checks are only offered where they are switched on, and depend on the AI providers being available.
- Monthly allowances reset each calendar month and do not roll over.
- Limits apply per account and, for visitors who are not signed in, per IP address. We may slow down or pause use that looks automated or that puts unusual load on the service or on the sites being audited.
- An account is for one person or one organisation. Do not open extra accounts to get around limits.
5. Acceptable use
An audit makes real requests to the site you name: we fetch the page as a normal browser and again identifying as AI crawlers (such as OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot and Claude-SearchBot), and we read its robots.txt and sitemap. A sitewide audit fetches several pages. Weekly alerts repeat this every week. So:
- Only audit sites you own or manage, or that you are allowed to test — for example a client's site with their permission, or a competitor's public page fetched at the normal rate the service allows.
- Do not use the service to load-test, probe for vulnerabilities, get around access controls, or disrupt any site.
- Do not scrape, crawl or copy the service, call its internal APIs from scripts, get around rate limits or plan limits, or resell access to it, except as the Agency plan allows.
- Do not sign up anyone else's email address for alerts or the newsletter.
- Do not upload or enter anything unlawful, infringing or misleading, including in citation-check prompts and agency branding (names, logos and links).
- Do not try to break, reverse-engineer or interfere with the service or its security.
6. Audits are information, not a guarantee
An audit is a snapshot of what our checks found at the time they ran. It is our best reading of public evidence about how search engines and AI assistants find and cite pages, and we grade every check by the strength of that evidence on our methodology page.
- We do not and cannot guarantee any outcome — not a ranking, a citation, a mention in an AI answer, traffic, leads or revenue. Google, OpenAI, Perplexity, Anthropic and others decide what they show, and they change their systems without notice.
- Results can be wrong or incomplete: a site may treat our requests differently from a real crawler, be briefly unavailable, or change after the audit. Live citation checks report what AI engines answered on that run, and those answers vary from run to run.
- The service is not legal, financial or professional advice. You decide what changes to make to your site, and you are responsible for them.
7. Agency features
- White-label. You may put your agency's name, logo, website and colour on reports and the widget, and share or sell those reports to your clients. You must have the right to use any branding you add.
- Embedded widget. You may place the audit widget on websites you control. Audits run through it count towards your plan's limits.
- Lead capture. When a visitor uses your widget and chooses to enter their email address, we send you that email address and the domain they audited. From then on you are responsible for that information: you must tell your visitors, in your own privacy notice, that you receive it and how you will use it, have a lawful basis for contacting them, and honour their requests to stop or to delete it.
8. Intellectual property
- We own the service: its software, design, scoring model, written content and research. These terms give you the right to use it, not ownership of it.
- Your site and its content stay yours. You may use, download, share and republish the reports you generate, including for clients.
- Datasets we publish with our research carry their own licence, stated next to them (currently CC BY 4.0).
- If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
9. Third-party services
The service relies on other companies: Vercel (hosting), Upstash (database), Resend (email), Razorpay (payments) and, for live citation checks, Anthropic, OpenAI and Perplexity. Audits also query Wikidata. Their own terms apply to how they run their services, and we are not responsible for their outages or decisions. Links to other websites are for your convenience; we do not control those sites. How we share data with these providers is set out in our privacy policy.
10. Changes and availability
We keep improving the service, which means checks, scores and features change over time. We aim to keep it available but do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may pause it for maintenance or security. If we remove a paid feature you rely on, or stop offering a paid plan, you can cancel and we will refund the unused part of your current period.
11. Disclaimers
Apart from what these terms expressly promise, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no other promises, including that the service will be error-free, or fit for a purpose you have not told us about.
12. Limitation of liability
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue, rankings, traffic, data or goodwill, or for losses caused by changes you make to your site.
- Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
You agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses if a claim is brought against us because you used the service in breach of these terms, for example by auditing a site you had no right to test.
13. Ending the agreement
- You can stop using the service at any time. To close your account and delete its data, cancel any subscription and write to our support email on the contact page.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the service, or does not pay. Where it is reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
- If we close your paid account without you having broken these terms, we refund the unused part of your current period.
- Sections 6, 8, 11, 12 and 14 continue to apply after the agreement ends.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you are a consumer, you also keep any protection the law of the country where you live gives you that cannot be overridden by agreement. Before going to court, please write to us: most problems are solved quickly that way.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will change the date at the top of this page, and email account holders before any change that materially affects them takes effect. If you do not agree with a change, you can cancel before it applies; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept it.
16. Contact
Questions about these terms: our support email on the contact page. Our full contact details are on the contact page.
